Hessonite

This is yet another variety of Garnet, it called Hessonite and it is in the Garnet family. These Hessonite rondelles are a beautiful shade somewhere between rust and brown, but like all stones in the Garnet family, they sparkle. They are paired with tiny Thai silver along the back half of the necklace.

This can be worn between 16 and 18 inches long with the sterling silver links in the back.  Worn alone or with other pieces (as seen in the alternate image), it is a beauty.  The other pieces pictured here are sold separately.
